AGWA Historical Guided Tours
Representing the Australian landscape

11am-12pm on Thursdays in December & January

(Please note there are no public tours from Saturday 23 December 2017 to Saturday 6 January 2018)

Discover AGWA’s hidden gallery space and explore the early works featuring landscapes in the Collection such as the iconic Down on his luck by Frederick McCubbin.

Five pathways, many journeys

With 17,500 works in the AGWA Collection, our curators have a wonderful selection from which to draw. You can be sure of surprises, new discoveries and the chance to rediscover treasured works, making it a different experience every time you visit.

A guided tour brings the Gallery to life

At AGWA, we’re lucky to have passionate Voluntary Gallery Guides who are dedicated to bringing the Gallery’s amazing and varied Collection to life through free guided tours.

There is nothing like a personal interaction to spark the imagination. Whether you’re a seasoned artistic traveller or apprentice explorer, our Voluntary Gallery Guides, or Guru Guides as we like to think of them, offer that extra insight and revealing glimpse into the artwork, the era and the artist.
