Please note: there are two types of tickets!
This year, we are aiming for at least 40% of women attending our Agile Coach Camp. We reserved 20 out of our 50 available tickets for women only (ticket type "she/her") and all other tickets for anyone else (ticket type "they/them"). That means:
- If you identify as a woman, please grab one of the "she/her" tickets. If those tickets are gone, please grab one of the "they/them" tickets.
- If you don't identify as a woman (men, this would be—amongst others—you!), then grab one of the "they/them" tickets.
The Agile Coach Camp movement hosts “un-conferences” around the world to provide a time and space for Agile Coaches to get together in a collective learning experience.
This was held previously for the past few years in Melbourne and was found to be very popular. For 2017 we will be making this even better bringing the same collegiate atmosphere and adhere to our base principles:
-
THE EVENT IS COST NEUTRAL
This is a non-profit event and every ticket sale pays for insurance, food, and stationary for the attendees on the day. -
A LIMIT OF 50 ATTENDEES
It probably seems harsh, but having an attendance constraint enables a small, intimate event where attendees can connect and forge long-term associations, so get your tickets quick! -
A SPACE FOR ATTENDEES WITH AT LEAST 1 YEAR’S EXPERIENCE TO LEARN FROM ONE ANOTHER
There are many entry-level conferences in Australia, and we want to provide an additional time and space for those that want to evolve further to the next level and cater for the needs of those already practising -
AN OPEN SPACE TECHNOLOGY FORMAT
The Agile Coach Camps around the world adopt the Open Space Technology approach for “un-conferences” as a means to enable you, the participants, to determine the topics that you are most passionate about and want to explore further with your peers -
THE EVENT IS ON A SATURDAY
The current market suggests that a significant portion of practising Agile Coaches are contractors and so placing the event on a Saturday will hopefully encourage their attendance as well
So bring your best ideas, unleash your enthusiasm and let's discover how we can be even better coaches.
