Event description
AgeTech Symposium: Community -

About this Event

AgeTech Australia is a social network community that is building momentum around the Ageing industry. We held our first event in July, which showcased local innovators making an impact in the health and aged care sectors in Queensland.

Our second event for the year is themed around "Community".

Come join us to discuss what community means as we age, how the idea of community is changing with technology, and explore how technologies impact communities; particularly highlighting the technologies that are supporting organisations in building a positive, inclusive and active culture in their communities.

Our Panel Members include:

Marcus Riley- CEO of BallyCara

Michael Doneman- Innovator-In-Residence at Comlink

Gary Thorpe- General Manager at 4MBS Classic FM

Dr Amanda Moffatt- Project Lead at Sortal Legacy

Dr Oksana Zelenko- Director Research Impact and Excellence, Creative industries QUT

AgeTech Australia's goal is to navigate the pathway for small businesses/start-ups, large organisations and senior citizens to connect and build partnerships. By working together, we can make a significant change to improve older Australian's wellbeing and the national quality of care.
