Description

4th International Conference on Ageing in a Foreign Land - Q & A

Do human service models create dependency and how culture unlocks potential.

As professionals we tackle ‘reform’ as if it is a beast to be tamed. We systemise, categorise, analyse, dissect and re-synthesise. We then bolt on the bits that we lost along the way. Diversity and special needs gets thrown in as if somehow these are not part of the whole, but peculiarities that somehow must be dealt with.

Instead, if we embrace change as natural and appealing and culture as central to our well-being - people win.

How to do this will be discussed at the Q and A.
