Then an aged care onsite pharmacist may be right for your home.

This new measure is a revolution for clinical pharmacy services in residential aged care homes. Funded by the Australian government, the program embeds a credentialed pharmacist onsite as part of your clinical care team. The ACOP can provide expert support and advice about resident’s medications as well as contributing to clinical governance and a culture of continuous improvement and quality, person centred care for your residents.

Hosted by an experienced aged care pharmacist, and with a panel of pharmacists, a GP and Residential Aged Care Home manager this will be a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the program and the opportunity for pharmacists, pharmacies and RACHs.
