Aged Bordeaux Wine Dinner
Thu. 27 October 2016, 6:30 pm – 10:00 pm AEDT
Although Bordeaux produces some of the world’s most rarefied wines, it’s also home to wines that offer Old World elegance and intense flavour for a modest prices —and are impressively food-friendly, too. This wine dinner is a great way to explore and further enhance your knowledge of these fascinating wines. Guests will enjoy tastes from Haut Medoc, Saint Emilion, Margaux, Pauillac, all paired perfectly with their meal.
Some of the most complex and beloved grape varietals, Bordeaux producers have spent the past fifteen years modernising their production. Today they are making terrific wines with upfront fruit flavours and silky textures that can be enjoyed early or can be cellared for years of enjoyment. Hosted by Sommelier Luke Campbell, and Friends; whites wine, reds and sweet wine will all be covered over a 3 course dinner including aged examples so we can understand how these styles cellar over time.. Strictly limited seats. Tickets are on sale now!
