Age-Friendly Bundaberg: Carer Focus Group
Bundaberg Regional Council, with funding from the QLD Government, is conducting an assessment of how age-friendly the Bundaberg LGA is.
We want to hear from carers of older people (65+) about your experiences and ideas to help make our community more inclusive and supportive for ageing well.
Your input will help identify what’s working well and what needs improvement across eight key domains of age-friendly communities:
• Outdoor spaces and buildings
• Transportation
• Housing
• Social participation
• Respect and social inclusion
• Civic participation and employment
• Communication and information
• Community support and health services
Why Participate?
• Your voice matters! By sharing your experiences, you’ll help create a community where older people and carers are supported to live active, healthy, and connected lives.

What to Expect
• Small group discussion (up to 12 participants)
• Duration: Approximately 3 hours
• Confidentiality: No personal identifiers will be collected
A facilitator will guide the conversation, and your insights will contribute to shaping a more age-friendly Bundaberg.
