Event description
African culture and cuisine are highly diverse, resulting from the various tribes and peoples across numerous regions.

About this Event

African culture is expressed in its arts and crafts, folklore and religion, clothing, cuisine, music and languages. The food and dishes of Africa are often a combination of locally acquired products such as grains, vegetables, milk and meats. It is highly diverse, resulting from the various tribes and peoples across the continent of Africa and the African Diaspora 🌍

Our spotlight will be highlighting some aspects of this great diversity with the opportunity to explore African drumming cultures and the taste of their cuisine.

Join us for Diversity Week to embrace the diversity of our community at UNSW and in Australia, and how we can foster a more inclusive society for us all!
