Advanced Apprenticeship Pilot Program
Industry 4.0 adoption is critically important for Manufacturing in Australia to revitalise the industry. Swinburne has received funding from the Australian Government’s Department of Education, Skills and Employment to conduct a new pilot for a training program on Industry 4.0 skills and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Swinburne University of Technology invites you to join the 'Advanced Apprenticeship Pilot' webinar to hear how SMEs can participate in the pilot.
The 'Advanced Apprenticeship Pilot' is an Australian Government initiative from the Department of Education aimed at supporting Small-to-Medium Enterprises to facilitate ".. stronger relationships between universities and industry to drive innovation, productivity gains and produce highly-skilled graduates" - Minister for Education Hon. Dan Tehan(1).
Paired with experiences with Swinburne's research-led Factory of the Future, Swinburne's ground-breaking Associate Degree of Applied Technologies - specialisation in Advanced Manufacturing (co-designed with Siemens) provides the critical skills and knowledge in Industry 4.0 that will enable participants to apply Industry 4.0 technologies to create genuine impact and add the value to the SMEs.
Who Should Attend:
The workshop is aimed at owners and/or senior leaders of Victorian businesses in manufacturing or process related industries, including Food & Beverage, Meat processing, Dairy, Agri-business, Defence, Pharmaceuticals etc.
