Event description


Health Professionals working in General practice aim to provide care that is patient-centred and delivered in line with a person's goals, beliefs and preferences, particularly as people age and become more likely to have multiple chronic conditions.

Decision Assist and Palliative Care Tasmania are delivering a series of free workshops to assist health professionals working in primary care enhance knowledge, skills and confidence in advance care conversations.

Registration 5.30pm

Evening workshops: 6pm – 8pm

Light refreshments will be provided.

Learning outcomes

    • Explain the benefits of advance care planning
    • Incorporate advance care planning into routine care
    • Recall information about the legislative aspect of advance care planning

    All sessions will earn CPD points and have RACGP and ACRRM points applied for.
