Description

Australian Design Review invites you to join us for a deep dive into our latest trend report, Education Design – Schools.

The discussion will investigate the current and future thinking on the topic of pedagogy design. It will explore how to create spaces for optimal learning outcomes and whether the proliferation of vertical schools means that, in education, the only way is up…

With a panel of experts in this typology, we can expect a robust debate on what future primary and secondary schools may look like.

The event will kick off with the lead architect of Prahran High School, Stephen Turner, presenting an overview of the project.

Then, our moderator Meaghan Dwyer, principal, John Wardle Architects, will be joined by our panellists, to discuss the trend report:

• Ben Lornie, senior associate at PTID

• Stephen Turner, partner at Gray Puksand

• Debbie Ryan, owner of McBride Charles Ryan

• Christon Batey-Smith, director at DesignInc.

Please join us for breakfast, along with other leading architects and designers, to receive your hard copy of the report.

After the discussion, there will be a Q&A between Nathan Chisholm (principal at Prahran High School) and Stephen Turner, plus a tour of the facility will be available.
