Overview

Your ADHD brain + my fast-talking budgeting = a fully functioning budget by the end of the workshop. Shit at money? No problems!

Stop believing the lie that ADHD = eternally sh*t with money.

This workshop is your budgeting glow-up: fast, practical, and actually makes sense for your brain. We’ll cover:

  • Tips, tricks, and hacks for ADHD brains including hyperfixations, dopamine spending, and impulsivity.
  • Autopilot budgeting systems so you don’t have to remember everything and they actually stick.
  • A lil bit of humour because money (or lack thereof let's be real) doesn’t have to feel shameful and like the most serious and boring thing on this planet.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a fully functioning budget and systems to keep your money on track plus proof that you can do it differently!

How do I know? I'm a fellow audHD'er + social worker who had no idea about money because I grew up pretty broke + poor. During COVID money and finances became my hyperfixation and I'm glad because it bloody paid off. I now obviously have a business which just wouldn't have been possible unless I had learnt allll the money lessons in order to save to afford a business + budget in order to keep a business.

Who it’s for: ADHD brains ready to stop giving in to the myth that money is impossible and avoiding it all is the best coping method. Let's learn, lock in as the kids say, and do it differently in our own way that actually works for us!

Big disclaimer:

I’m not a financial advisor. This workshop is about ADHD-friendly budgeting strategies and systems to help your brain work with money, not against it. I will not be giving personal financial advice or guidance because I'm not qualified to do so nor do I know anything in that realm.

If you are experiencing poverty, serious debt, or financial hardship, this workshop won’t fix those systemic issues. You might find free financial counselling services more useful in those situations - https://moneysmart.gov.au/managing-debt/financial-counselling

I also hope this isn’t giving “girl boss” energy. Nothing magically changes unless you take small steps yourself, and learning about money is just the start. Systems, privilege, and social context are real and important to discuss and acknowledge. This is about giving you tools to work with your brain, not pretending everyone has the same starting line.

This is about learning how to structure your money in a way that works for ADHD brains, practicing self-compassion around spending, and setting yourself up for better budgeting habits, not replacing professional financial advice or erasing systemic barriers.
