Event description
Discover the secrets of the Port River dolphins in this fun, local, walking tour.

About this Event

To celebrate the Adelaide Shorebird and Dolphin Festival, the Port Environment Centre invites you on a guided walk of the inner harbour.

Learn about our special Port River dolphins and witness our local marine life.

An experienced local guide will help you discover the fascinating environment that is literally on our doorstep and share interesting stories of the dolphin's lives.

This tour is suitable for all, however this is a walking tour and during the 90 minutes you will cover around 3km (at a slow, leisurely pace). Please contact the Port Environment Centre if you have any mobility or access concerns.

Children must be accompanied by a guardian and be appropriately supervised at all times.

This is an outdoor event and participants need to wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Please dress for the weather.

BYO hat, sunscreen and water bottle.

The tour will begin and end at the Port Environment Centre, 27 North Parade, Port Adelaide.

Please note that the Port Environment Centre building does not have accessible toilets for persons with a disability. Please don't hesitate to contact the coordinator (hello@portenvironmentcentre.org.au) if you would like more information about accessibility at the Port Environment Centre.

The Port Environment Centre and the Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary walking tour is supported by the Adelaide Mount Lofty Ranges Natural Resource Management Board.
