She will touch on issues of sustainability, appropriate design for climate and place, and efficient and effective use of resources within the heritage context.

Catherine Forbes, GML Principal and Built Heritage Specialist, is an architect with over 25 years’ experience in heritage conservation. Her expertise lies in analysing historic buildings, sites and urban precincts (including interiors and landscapes), preparing appropriate guidelines for their conservation, adaptation and management, and disaster risk management planning for cultural heritage.
