Description

Join ACYPI for the first 'Fireside Chat' of 2017, with renowned author and Chinese media and cultural studies Professor Wanning Sun.

Professor Sun's research broadly covers Chinese media both in Australia and China. As a regular contributor to the Sydney Morning Herald, AFR and The Conversation, she has written extensively on Chinese media, soft power and public diplomacy. In addition to publishing four books, Professor Sun has authored numerous reports and most recently an essay for Asia Society’s ‘Disruptive Asia’ series.

Fireside chats are an opportunity to talk openly and informally with a well-seasoned expert. After an initial question or two, attendees are encouraged to engage in a candid conversation with our guest, and stick around afterwards for some friendly drinks.

We hope to see you there!
