About this Event

Experiencing pregnancy and being a mother can often leave you feeling exhausted, depleted, restless, emotionally driven, r eactive and alone. Many women heading into childbirth feel scared of labour; it can feel exciting, yet daunting.

This fun and interactive workshop will educate you on how important your breath is and how to fuel your body with the right foods to provide you with the energy to tackle motherhood. Nicola Laye will show you the secret to getting back on track, which is simple but powerful, and doesn’t involve crazy fads and gimmicks. Our breath is an indicator of anxiety, mood and overall state of being. When we know how to work with our breath, we can change so much; we change our mood, learn to cope with pain, panic attacks, ease insomnia, and lower blood pressure.

The second hour of the workshop will be taken by Jema Lee, a nutritional educator and wellness coach. She will educate women on what nutritional balance looks like both pre and post-natal for healthy vibrant mums. Discover food tips, shopping tips, meal ideas and gain a new understanding of ‘balanced eating’ with a mix of ancient health and modern health. Morning tea will be provided.
