Event description

Description

Today's businesses, government and individuals are responding to shifts that would have seemed unimaginable even a few years ago. These are large, transformative trends that define the present and shape the future by their impact on businesses, economies, industries, societies and individual lives - with ‘global reach, broad scope, and a fundamental and dramatic impact’.

Many of these megatrends are poised to ‘throw companies, individuals and societies into freefall’. Megatrends are interlinked and involve a significant shift in environmental, societal and economic conditions.

This DFC Action forum will take a deep dive into the Global wave of trends to examine how the on-flow will impact the built environment, and therefore our services and businesses. This workshop style can also be replicated in-house for firms looking to have their team think similarly.

We will take a deep dive into:

1. Water

2. Waste

3. The way we get there - alternative / autonomous vehicles
