9:30am Welcome and Acknowledgment of Country
9:35am Sean Moysey, Executive Branch Manager, Early Childhood Policy and Regulation
Executive Branch Manager Sean Moysey will provide an update on ACT Education and Care Sector trends, including experiences relevant to COVID-19 and workforce.
9:50am Early Childhood Degree Scholarship Program
The ACT Government is committed to increasing the number and profile of degree-qualified educators in the ACT. The Early Childhood Degree Scholarship Program commenced in 2014 and has provided eligible educators with financial assistance to gain an approved early childhood degree qualification. An update about this initiative will be provided.
10:10am Education Directorate, Support at Preschool Initiative
Support at Preschool (SAP) Inclusion Officers work with ACT Government school leadership and preschool staff to build capacity to support the inclusion of children where significant adjustments are required. SAP Inclusion Officers connect with the community to identify children prior to their preschool year, who may require adjustments to support their participation and engagement at preschool.

A fully catered morning tea will be provided. Please make sure you contact CECA@act.gov.au to let us know if you have any dietary requirements once you have received your registration confirmation.
11:00am –12:30pm National Quality Framework Review, ACT NQF Review Team
Providers and service leaders are invited to attend an information session on the second stage of the National Quality Framework (NQF) Review. This information session will provide participants the opportunity to ask questions about the Consultation Regulation Impact Statement (CRIS) . The CRIS reflects the likely impact of any regulatory changes that have been considered as a result of the first phase of NQF Review.

Registration
Due to COVID-19 restrictions early registration is essential due to limited venue capacity, please note that PowerPoint slides and a podcast from the first hour of this meeting will be circulated to providers and services.
Provider representatives are encouraged to attend this meeting, to ensure that each organisation has the opportunity to hear the NQF Review segment. To maximise provider participation in the context of COVID 19 protocols, we ask that you register one person from your organisation.
Parking
Parking is free, however parking facilities can become busy, so please allow additional time to park.
Tickets
Please bring your Eventbrite ticket in either hard copy or electronically displayed on a device. This will enable you to easily check-in on arrival.
COVID Safe Terms and Conditions
This is a COVID Safe event. All participants must download and sign into the venue using the Check In App CBR https://www.covid19.act.gov.au/business-and-work/check-in-cbr App and adhere to current COVID-19 safety measures in place for the ACT.
Participants are not to attend the event if they:
- Are unwell
- Have been in close contact with a known active case of COVID-19
- Have travelled overseas in the previous 14 days
- Have been to a COVID-19 affected area in the previous 14 days (refer www.covid19.act.gov.au)
Participants who develops any COVID-19 symptoms during the event must leave the event immediately.
Note: If a registered participant is unable to attend for any reason, they can transfer their ticket to another participant but will need to notify CECA at CECA@act.gov.au before 8:30am for any amendments.
