Online event
A justice focused conversation asking what makes a good life, what are the challenges and what are your ideas for change?
About this event
We are developing a ten-year Disability Strategy to create a more welcoming and inclusive community and improve the lives of the more than 80,000 Canberrans who identify as people with disability.
We want to hear your ideas and experiences on and how the ACT should implement inclusive actions and activities which create change in our community. This focused conversation on justice is part of our public listening campaign, to understand what our community wants to see included in the ACT Disability Strategy.
We'll ask you to think with a justice lens about:
• what a good life looks like
• what the challenges are to having a good life, and
• to share ideas on how to make it easier for people with disability to live the kind of life they want to live.
Your views, experiences and insights will help inform the development of the ACT Disability Strategy.
There are a range of relevant background documents that you may like to review on the YourSay website here: https://yoursayconversations.act.gov.au, under the tab for this event.
Please note, this will be an online session using Microsoft Teams. Please be aware the email address you register with will be visible to other attendees of the meeting.
