Acquia & Salsa Digital - govCMS Content Administration Training

Learn how to navigate a Drupal/govCMS site and recognise custom roles, content types, taxonomy (category) systems and contributed modules. This course will increase your efficiency and productivity, teaching you how to use Drupal’s features so you can manage any Drupal/govCMS site — including highly customised sites.
No prior experience with Drupal/govCMS is necessary
By the end of this course you will be able to:
Create, publish, unpublish and manage content
Add files, media or inline images/video
Relate content through terms, tags and linking
Edit content for SEO, customise URLs and add metadata
Conduct tasks as a content creator and editor
Create webforms and access data from webforms
Manage users, reviews roles and permissions, and change account settings
Light refreshments will be served and lunch can be purchased from the venue cafe.
Computers will be provided but attendees are welcome to bring their own laptops. The Acquia Cloud environment will be used for referencing and training exercises. For questions or immediate assistance please email firstname.lastname@example.org .

Important Note: This event requires a minimum of 8 attendees in order to proceed. If the minimum number is not reached one week prior to the event, the event may be cancelled. If the event is cancelled all registered attendees will be notified one week prior and any payments made will be refunded.
