Event description

Description

What better way to celebrate the start of spring than a trip back to Bribie Island. Bribie Island is connected to the mainland by bridge across the Pumicestone Passage, a channel known for its seagrass beds, and home to dugong and turtles. Wildlife is prolific both in and out of the water and 86% of the island is protected national park.

This is a great beach drive close to Brisbane with some patches of soft sand to test your truck. If you want to do a really fun day on the sand, this is it! We will travel up the bumpy backroads from White Patch through past the remnants of heritage-listed Fort Bribie.

After popping out on the eastern beach, we will look for a place to plonk for some lunch and a swim, before eventually heading south along the beach to take the short track off at Woorim.
