We will start from 6.00pm with the AGM followed by a presentation from two current board members Ben Arnold of A&P Advisory and Eve Switka of Avior Consulting on the ACFE Report to the Nations.
The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners has released the 2020 Report to the Nations: Global Study on Occupational Fraud and Abuse. The report is the 11th edition of the largest global study on occupational fraud, involving 2,504 real cases of occupational fraud from 125 countries. 23 major industry categories were included in the report, exploring the costs, schemes, victims and perpetrators of fraud.
Eve and Ben will discuss the key findings from the 2020 Report to the Nations including preventative and detective fraud techniques, regional specific results, who is perpetrating fraud and the current common identification techniques. We will also encourage discussion to share insights as to what the results mean for fraud professionals and our organisations.
