About this event
BizData is the strategic Databricks partner for Life Sciences in Asia Pacific, and a leader in the implementation of advanced genomics analysis solutions on Azure.
We are excited to demonstrate to you and your team how you can greatly accelerate your genomics analyses using Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform for Genomics on Azure.
BizData, in partnership with Microsoft Health and Databricks, will host an interactive session exploring the benefits of running your secondary and tertiary analysis pipelines on Azure, at scale and interactively, using 1-click deployment capabilities and collaborative workspaces.
Specialising in genomics, Databricks Solution Architect William Brandler will demonstrate:
• How Databricks can be used to process genomics data on a population scale.
• Use cases for population scale genomics, from drug discovery to Mendelian randomization.
• Their collaboration with the Regeneron Genetics Center, which has led to the open-source project Glow (projectglow.io).
At the end of the demonstration you will have the opportunity to schedule a follow up deep-dive session, specifically targeted to your area of research or practice.
