SRE training is for all new SRE teachers and those who require refresher training. It is also for SRE teachers, who may not have completed training previously. It is a requirement for Authorisation.

The refresher component will be completed prior to lunch. Those commencing SRE in 2019, or who have not completed training previously, will then complete the remaining modules after lunch.

Training covers Working in Government Schools, Duty of Care, Classroom Management, Biblical Foundations, Teaching 21st Century Children and Preparing and Delivering a Lesson.

Morning tea will be provided on the day, however, you will need to bring your lunch with you, if you are staying for the full day. Roadworks mean that there will be insufficient time to travel to purchase lunch on the day.
