This holidays, the Academy for Enterprising Girls (AEG) in collaboration with Young Change Agents is offering girls aged 10-18 the opportunity to be part of a nation-wide mini Youth Incubator experience.

The Academy for Enterprising Girls is a free innovative entrepreneurship program, co-funded by the Australian Government, designed to cultivate young women’s skills in design thinking, technology and business skills.

This program is your chance to become an enterprising girl and take what you've learnt in a Young Change Agents program and bring it to life as a social enterprise! You'll get matched with a mentor, participate in masterclasses and get the chance to build our your brand, business model and prototype.

You'll get to:

• Have fun with friends developing your idea!
• Learn to use some new tools that will help you develop your business
• Get tips and feedback from a mentor
• Be in control - this is your idea so how far you want to take it is up to you!

We recommend participating as a team and this can be the team you worked in during a Young Change Agents program or you can bring along some other students to work on your idea with you. If you can't find a team - don't worry, we're happy to welcome you as an individual and maybe we'll find you a team during the program!

This is a virtual program so all you’ll need is a device, a good internet connection and the motivation to make a difference in the world!

This is a robust learning experience that has been co-designed with experts and students to meet the needs of Australian girls and our local industries.

It aims to ensure young women are equipped for jobs of the future, in non-traditional growth industries such as technology and engineering, where there are increasing opportunities but unfortunately where women are greatly under-represented.

The Academy for Enterprising Girls is a FREE, fun online program specifically designed to help prepare your daughter and other girls aged 10 to 18 years for the 21st century workforce.

Young Change Agents is a not-for-profit social enterprise that empowers young people across Australia to find problems in their community, reframe them as opportunities, and then come up with solutions. We are the team running this event. All of our facilitators have a working with children's check for the state or territory in which they are facilitating from.
