Event description

Description

What can we learn about sustainability from Aboriginal weavers and cultural practitioners. Can learning about Aboriginal ways of viewing and interacting with the environment help us build healthier relationships with Country?

Celebrate nature and culture through a self-guided visit to the Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year exhibition (30 min) and creative workshop (2.5 hours) package. Led by Aunty Karleen Green, visitors can learn about Aboriginal ecological knowledge whilst creating a turtle basket from natural fibres.

Ticket includes Museum admission, exhibition admission and refreshments.
