Event description

Description

Aboriginal Australians have been looking at the night sky for thousands of years. During this time they have been able to build up a complex knowledge of the stars and their movements. Join Paul Curnow at Aldinga Library to learn about dreaming stories and how constellations are seen by Aboriginal Australians.

Paul Curnow has been a lecturer at the Adelaide Planetarium since 1992. After nearly 30 years of research, he is regarded as one of the world’s leading authorities on Australian Aboriginal night sky knowledge.

Suitable for adults. Bookings essential.
