Description

Join Indigenous Educator Trent Hill and Botanic Gardens of South Australia education staff to learn about the importance of plants to Aboriginal people and how they were used as food, medicine, tools and shelter.

Trent will lead you on a walk around Adelaide Botanic Garden highlighting the plant species and demonstrating how Aboriginal people used these plants in their daily lives.

Botanic Gardens education staff will then showcase more resources and programs that are available to further strengthen your student's intercultural understanding.

This workshop is aligned with the Australian National Teaching Standards and a certificate of attendance will be issued.
