About this event
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak in Sydney, all sessions will now be held online via MS Teams.
AbSec is inviting Aboriginal community-controlled organisations within the two trial locations – South West Sydney and the Hunter – to bid for the implementation of a new Aboriginal Guardianship Support Model.
We are seeking organisations to deliver and trial a support service that has been co-designed with the community. Service providers will be working with Aboriginal children and young people on guardianship orders, their guardians and carers.
Briefing sessions are being hosted for organisations interested in working with AbSec to trial and evaluate this exciting initiative over a two year period.
You will be able to find out more and ask questions about the model, the support components that guardians and their children want, the provider specifications and submitting a response to deliver the service.
Information Session Dates
South West Sydney Region - Online via MS Teams - Thursday 15 July, 10am - 12pm
Hunter Region - Online via MS Teams - Wednesday 21 July, 10am - 12pm
