Event description

Description

As part of Murumal's commitment to helping people understand and appreciate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history and culture, we are hosting this Aboriginal Cultural Awareness workshop.

Our workshops are designed to up skill participants, and impart a deeper understanding, respect and appreciation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and peoples. Our objective is to help participants better understand how to engage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples effectively and appreciate the benefits of a culturally diverse workforce.

The workshop will provide information that will help increase understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and peoples. Having a greater understanding of the issues and context will enhance participant’s ability to engage respectfully. Benny’s background is in Human Resources specialising in diversity with a focus on Indigenous workforce development.
