AASC Hanging Rock Tour

Dear Australia Awards Students,
AASC invites you to join us for a day-trip to two of the most natural places near city, the Hanging Rock and Trentham Waterfalls on Saturday, 3rd of December 2016.
The Hanging Rock Reserve is a rare volcanic formation that has inspired books, movies and even was considered as a sacred aboriginal land. Meanwhile, with 32 breathtaking meters, the Trentham Waterfalls are the tallest single drop falls in Victoria and protects one of the best remnants of original vegetation in the area.
We thought we would bring you something exciting to rejoice the end of the year! Please note the ticket and other logistical details below:

Unimelb AAS Student = $25* (entitled one ticket)
Spouse of Unimelb of AAS Student = $25* (entitled one ticket)
Children of Unimelb of AAS Student (2-10 years) = $20* (max. 3 tickets)
Children of Unimelb of AAS Student (younger than 2yr) = FREE
Others = $38 (note: AAS student from other University also falls into this category)
*This is subsidised trip for Unimelb AAS Students and their family, so Unimelb AAS Student should sign up themselves using their student email. We also have generated a seat limit for each category.
The ticket is non-refundable and does not include snack/ lunch/ water.
Please note that we are not planning to provide any additional seats once the ticket is sold out.
Meeting point: University Square, Grattan Street, University of Melbourne
Meeting time: 9:30 a.m.
Arrive to Tretham waterfalls at 11:00 a.m.
Leave Trentham waterfalls for Hanging Rock Reserve at 2:00 p.m.
The bus depart from Hanging Rock Reserve to UoM at 7:00 p.m.
Drop off: University Square, Grattan Street, The University of Melbourne at 8:30 p.m.*
*Please note that the time could vary because of traffic or any other unforeseen circumstances. Any request for a drop while on the way to the University would not be entertained.
Please be punctual. All passengers are requested to be at the pick-up point no later than 9:30 am. The registration will take time and we aim to leave the University Square at sharp 10:00am. The bus would not be able to wait for late comers.
Please wear appropriate clothing, especially shoes for outdoor activities/walking/hiking.
Please check weather update for the day to see if you need to carry an umbrella for rain/sun.
Please bring a bottle of water with you.
Bring snacks/ lunch with you for on the way munching.
