About this event
Network face-to-face with other local clinicians, enjoy a two-course dinner, and hear from Deborah Maddock about the Tweed Geriatrics Outreach Service and the Pottsville Memory Clinic. We'll also hear from Tenille Griffith and Sue Hyde about services and resources delivered by Dementia Australia, including the Dementia Learning Centre.
This event provides a platform to share your knowledge and hear from a range of different services that make up and wrap around the multidisciplinary dementia care team. Catch up with colleagues, ask lots of questions and openly discuss local dementia referral options and supports.

Supporting the main presentations will be representatives from Home and Community Care, counselling services, respite and carers support.

- Discuss modifiable factors that influence dementia risk and progression
- Determine the most appropriate services, supports and referral pathways within your local area.
- Enhance your confidence to discuss dementia with patients and their carers and promote the benefits of using dementia HealthPathways.
