Description

"A Private Tour of Horsley" is one of the public programs from the National Trust of Australia (NSW) exhibition "Tales from the East: India and New South Wales" (https://www.nationaltrust.org.au/exhibitions/tales-from-the-east/).

Renowned heritage architect Clive Lucas O.B.E. will lead a coach tour to Horsley on Saturday 18th August 2018. Described by Hardy Wilson as the pleasantest home in New South Wales, Horsley was built about 1832 by George Weston and is the finest example of an Indian bungalow in Australia. The visit also includes St Bartholomew’s Church Prospect and a sandwich lunch.

Guests will depart from Old Govenrment House, Parramatta Park at 11am and travel by coach to Horsley and then to St Bartholomew. The tour will end back at Old Government House at approximately 3pm.
