On Tuesday 22nd of August, the UQU Environment Collective will be hosting a screening of the feature-length adventure documentary 'A Plastic Ocean' and a talk from guest speaker Dr. Kathy Townsend from the UQ Centre of Marine Science.

Tickets are only $5 per person and also include a Vego (Vegetarian and Vegan) Pizza Buffet!!

This doco shows the shocking consequences of our global disposable lifestyle. An international team of adventurers, researchers, and Ocean ambassadors captured never-before-seen images of marine life, plastic pollution, and its ultimate consequences for human health.

Location: Level 2 of the Global Change institute (Bld 20)

5pm start - Doors open and Vego Pizza Buffet starts
6pm - Docomentary starts
7.40pm - Intermission
8pm - Dr Kathy Townsend Talk and Sculpture Unveiling
