Find out how to access newly digitised records of registers for Commonwealth run migrant hostels in South Australia.

About this event

The National Archives has recently digitised all registers it holds for Commonwealth run migrant hostels in South Australia and these are now available online. Many post-WWII migrants spent some time in hostels such as Glenelg and Finsbury and these registers are important resources for family and social historians. Come and find out about how to access these records, the work that has gone into digitising them and some of the stories they reveal about those who spent time in these hostels.

This talk is part of a monthly series, SA Selections from the National Archives, that showcases newly available online content.
