Event description

Description

From photographing the moon at 14 through his home-built telescope, to a press career, to management of a major centre of photography, Michael Silver has spent 50 years of his life pursuing his passion for taking photographs.

This exhibition is a distillation of the work of half a century.

At age 15 he said to his first employer: “This isn’t work – it’s fun.” It hasn’t changed.

Opening night 12 Dec 2017 6:30pm

by Dr Alasdair Foster

Curator, Writer and Adjunct Professor, RMIT
