Event description
Building understandings for Families on how the brain shapes learning and behaviour for your child.

About this Event

The early years are a critical period for developing neuro connections that influence a child's foundation for learning, development and behaviour.

This seminar will provide parents' and caregivers with understandings of how children’s brains are shaped by interpersonal relationships, genes and their environment.

Discussions will focus on expanding knowledge about the sequential way the brain develops and provide insight to families about what is going on within the internal workings of a child when overwhelm sets in and meltdowns occur.

We will also discuss sensory influences and how that impacts on a child's learning and development as critical foundations for regulating behaviour and success for learning.

This is an informative seminar that will translate theory into everyday language and provide strategies that will change the way you view behaviour and neurodiversity to foster the wellbeing of your child.
