Description

A new history of the Adelaide Law School: project launch

Alumni are invited to share their recollections for a new history of the Law School.

It is 35 years since the ground-breaking Law School history, Law on North Terrace, was published to celebrate the Law School’s centenary. Now a new, book-length history of the Law School is being written by legal historian Dr John Waugh, to be published in time for the Law School’s 140th anniversary in 2023.

The experiences of alumni are a key part of the Law School history project. Adelaide Law School alumni will be invited to share their recollections through an online questionnaire.

The history project and the questionnaire will be launched at this event.

To join the alumni community or update your details, visit adelaide.edu.au/alumni/get-involved or email alumni@adelaide.edu.au.

Dr John Waugh is a historian of Australian law and legal education. He holds degrees in law, history and philosophy from the universities of Melbourne and Cambridge. He is a senior fellow at the Melbourne Law School and a visiting researcher at the Adelaide Law School. He can be contacted at j.waugh@unimelb.edu.au.
