Description

Advancing our Social Innovation Agenda - Thought Leadership Forum with Stephen Huddart

In association with The Australian Centre for Social Innovation (TACSI) and Perpetual, Philanthropy Australia is delighted to welcome Stephen Huddart (President and CEO of The McConnell Foundation - Montreal, Canada) to Adelaide.

The McConnell Foundation is a world-leader in designing and catalysing a social innovation ecosystem to support inclusive growth in Canada. The Foundation works collaboratively with the government, private and social sectors to enhance Canada’s ability to address complex social, environmental and economic challenges by developing, testing and applying innovative solutions that address inequality and foster social inclusion.

Join us at this informative thought leadership forum where Stephen will discuss the approach taken in Canada on important social issues such as public policy, poverty, climate change and reconciliation for Indigenous people. What lessons can Australia learn to advance our social innovation agenda? How can we enhance the relationships between philanthropy, the social economy and our emerging policy agenda? What is the risk appetite for advancing the social innovation agenda?

A panel discussion with Australian social innovation leaders will follow, along with an opportunity for you to contribute to the conversation.

Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from a leader in the global philanthropic sector.

We look forward to seeing you there.

With thanks to TACSI for generously hosting this event.
