A Medieval Gregorian: Matinee in the Museum

Overview

Enjoy wine and nibbles in the Abbey Museum, followed by an afternoon of Gregorian Chant with the divine acoustics of the Abbey Museum.

Formerly A Medieval Christmas, now A Medieval Gregorian.

At this special matinee session, Gregorian Chant Choir, Schola Cantorum, will perform a series of medieval chants in the Abbey Museum. Guests are invited to arrive at 3.30 pm to tour the Museum and enjoy a repast of wine and nibbles. This will be followed by the Matinee Chant recital in the Abbey Museum which will commence at 4.30 pm.

NB: The Abbey Church will be closed to visitors during the Matinee session.

Vegetarian options will be available. Gluten free options available by request only - please indicate number of guests requiring gluten free at time of booking.

The Abbey Museum is wheelchair friendly.

We are unable to offer free entry to Companion Card Holders for this event due to limited seating and catering.
