Event description

Description

Aimed at students in years 7-9, this workshop provides you with the opportunity to experience life as a fashion designer. The 1-day workshop will teach you the golden rules of fashion illustration, using a croquis and developing your own illustration style, under the guidance of experienced fashion illustrator, Tracy Hogan. In the 3-day workshop, you will also master design principles, fabric manipulation and develop skills in pattern-making and garment construction. To do so you will translate an original skirt design from an illustration into a finished garment. On top of this, the final day will include a guest speaker. This workshop will be taught by our experienced fashion design degree teacher - Lize Niemczyk.

Students successfully completing this 3-day workshop will be presented with a Certificate of Participation in Fashion Illustration and Design Processes.
