Professor Edward (Ted) Melhuish

Professor Melhuish’s is a highly respected and influential researcher with significant international experience in influencing early childhood education. He is visiting the Northern Territory as a guest of the Department of Education and will join ECA Member and Friends for an evening of conversation about his work and interests.

Professor Jacqueline Barnes will join Professor Melhuish at the meeting.

Jacqueline Barnes is Professor of Psychology in the Department of Psychological Sciences, Birkbeck, University of London, UK and Visiting Professor at the University of Wollongong, NSW. Professor Barnes research interest include early intervention programmes related to children’s health and development, parenting; and impact of childcare in the early years.
