Description

Join us for a day of discussion, learning and networking about current comparative and international education (CIE) research, featuring keynote presentation and panel discussions with Michael Crossley, FRSA, FAcSS, Emeritus Professor of Comparative and International Education, Founding Director for the Centre for Comparative and International Research in Education (CIRE), and Director of the Education in Small States Research Group at the University of Bristol, Graduate School of Education.

We welcome students, researchers and practitioners interested in the intersections of education, environment, sustainable development, small states and the value of comparative research approaches. The Seminar will include a practical workshop on getting published, opportunities for networking, and participants are welcome to join for all or part of the day.

If you are interested in sharing your research related to any of the themes above, please contact rebecca.spratt@unimelb.edu.au with title and 25-word description. The format for this session and the number of presenters will be determined based on level of interest and time available.

You can register to attend for the morning, afternoon or whole day. Tea and coffee will be available through the day, and a light lunch will be provided for those who have registered.
