Description

A+ Communication: How to Communicate and Reach the Widest Pool of Customers

When communication is done well it’s seamless, yet when it’s done poorly, you know. And everyone else knows.

This session is designed to take your communication to the next level, with a focus on effective communication with people with disability. We look at a largely untapped consumer market who have money to spend but want a great customer experience, just like you.

This session goes deeper to explore greater communication – verbal, non-verbal (and how this can go terribly wrong), written communication, harnessing technology, maximising your (accessible) online presence as well as practical strategies and low-cost tools to ensure that you leave the impression you’re hoping for.

Delivered by a person with a disability, this session provides specialist expertise and a real-life perspective of how good communication can be maximised.

Who should attend: All tourism members are welcome to attend, in particular employees who work on marketing, communications, design, online (including social media, website updates and sending EDM’s) and managers or business owners.

This session will be delivered by the Australian Federation of Disability Organisations.
