We are looking forward to celebrating Australia Day with you on Wednesday 26 January at St Marys Park as we come together to mark this significant occasion for our community and our country.
The current Omicron situation has necessitated the need to modify the way in which we are able to safely deliver the Australia Day event. In the interests of public health and safety, the attendance to the event will now be invited guests with only one guest allowed per invitee. You will need to register both yourself and your guest (if applicable) and bring a copy of your ticket to the event, either on your phone or a printed copy.
Please note that registration for new citizens begins at 8:00am with the official ceremony beginning at 8:30am.
If you are a new citizen you are required to bring your letter of invitation and a form of photo identification, such as a driver’s license or a passport to be able to proceed with your citizenship journey.
During this registration process we will ask some questions about your journey to Australian Citizenship such as your country of origin and how long you have lived in Australia. These have been asked so we can incorporate them into the Citizenship Ceremony, your response will be appreciated.
