Join Natalie Almond working one chakra per week, beginning from grounding and reconnecting with us and the earth, shifting into to a transformative experience and ending with expressing to all that is and once again feeling connection with spirit and universe. We will finally get to be and know ourselves again!!

There will be serious and deep moments and times of love, fun and laughter as we come together to support each others’ journeys reaching our full potential.

Various scriptural texts and teachings present a different number of chakras. There are many chakras in the subtle human body according to the tantric texts; maybe thousands, but there are seven chakras that are considered to be the most important ones. These seven run up, along and within the spine and it’s chord.

Even though they are of the subtle body they affect our physical, emotional and mental bodies.

Each of these seven chakras relate to and balance or imbalance our endocrine glands.

The base three chakras hold all of our life/lives programming, it is the seat of self, the next three chakras are what we are journeying/being in this lifetime depending what we are carrying in the lower three. The 7th chakra is being in all.

The meaning of chakra is wheel or vortex, the near meeting points of nerve endings and glands create these spinning wheels of energy. As the wheel spins energy is created and distributed. They are the power stations that affect our physical, mental and emotional systems.

Working on the chakra system may bring health and harmony to our entire systems and open dormant areas of our brain.

Sit with a chakra and let it speak to you. This can lead to great transformative experiences.

Practices include:

  • Gentle movement
  • Sound
  • Meditation
  • Visualisation
  • Theory
  • And deep intent

Wear comfortable clothing, bring a cushion and anything else you like to use when meditating.

The one hour classes run as follows:

  • 5 minutes talk on the chakra
  • 15 Chakra meditation
  • 45 minute yoga for the chakra

If you wish you can join us 15 minutes early to connect as a community and ask questions.

Organiser of 7-Week Chakra Meditation and Movement

Natalie Almond  is the founder of Anahata Yoga Space, teaching Alchemic Yoga and Hatha Yoga for 27 years, with experience in yoga and it's science you will definitely be in for a transformative experience.  Natalie helps you understand the works of yoga and utilise it to re-empower, create change and heal through its therapeutic benefits.

Natalie's classes are gentle yet strong, working with fluid movement (actually moving the bodily fluids), core muscles, asana, pranayama, bhandas, meditation and visualisation.  Incorporating: internal alchemy (transformation), traditional hatha style, a touch of chi Kung movements, and flowing postures. With her intuitive nature every body will get something they need from each class.
