About this event

Monash Partners ‘Introduction to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Training’ involves a 6-hour face-to-face workshop. The training is suitable for staff with and without previous International Council on Harmonisation (ICH) GCP training, and is designed for all those involved in pharma or interventional clinical research.

This TransCelerate-accredited GCP short course will provide participants with an understanding of the requirements of ICH GCP and an awareness of how to conduct a study in accordance with ICH GCP.

Course Outline

The course consists of 5 modules:

  1. The Standards
  2. Study Set Up
  3. Informed Consent
  4. Case Report Form and Data Entry
  5. Safety Reporting

Once you are registered you shall receive a confirmation. Closer to the date of the course another email will be sent with the Course Information Pack. We recommend you have access to a suitable device (Laptop/iPad) to view the PDF documents during the course.

Please ensure your name and email are correct. Certificates are automatically generated using the information you submit on this registration form. They will be emailed out one week after the course.

Who should attend?

This course is offered at no charge to all paid employees of the Monash Partners organisations and is suitable for staff with and without previous ICH GCP training, designed for those involved in pharma or clinical research, including Principal Investigators, Associate Investigators and Clinical Trial Coordinators.

Upon successful completion of the course attendees will be issued a certificate of accredited ICH GCP training by email.

Cancellation Policy

Please advise at your earliest convenience by email or phone if you are unable to attend a booked session so your place can be offered to another person.

Once a course has reached maximum capacity a waiting list will commence. You will be notified should a place become available.

Please note: there are minimum numbers required to run the course, if the minimum is not reached you will be notified one week prior to the course and offered an alternate course date.

What do I need to bring?

Please bring an appropriate device to view the student materials and complete the post course assessment, sent via email prior to the course. You may wish to bring your own food, or purchase from a nearby cafe as this is an uncatered event.

Where do I park?

MMC: 3hr parking is available a short walk away at Fregon Reserve, or free all day parking is available near Clayton train station. Alternatively paid parking is available at the hospital car park (access via Clayton Road). Alfred Campus: Paid parking is available within the hospital car park

Can I update my registration information?

Changes must be made through Eventbrite, or by contacting the event administrator. Please ensure your name and email are correct. Certificates are automatically generated using the information you submit on this registration form.
