6 WEEK MIXED MMA BOOTCAMP - STARTING MONDAY 3RD JULY

We've run a couple of bootcamps this year but this is the FIRST bootcamp that's open to both guys and girls.

Our MMA Bootcamp combines the fundamentals of striking, grappling and is a great way to learn and build a solid foundation in martial arts. This is all done in conjunction with MMA specific conditioning drills to get you in great shape and make you fit and strong.

With highly experienced coaches and a fun, engaging and supportive environment, our specially designed 6-week syllabus will help create positive and noticeable changes to your mind and your body. Each session will build on the previous ensuring that by the end of the program, you will have a good understanding of the basic techniques of BJJ and Muay Thai.

No experience required. Just motivation and no fear of getting sweaty.

Duration: 6 weeks, 3 sessions weekly, 1 hour sessions

Start Date: Monday 3rd July 2017 @ 7:30PM

Training Days & Times: Monday & Wednesday @ 7:30-8:30PM and Saturday @ 9-10AM

Suitable for: All fitness levels & those new to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai and MMA.

Package cost: $300 (or $50 instalments each week)

6-WEEK SYLLABUS:

Week 1:
Striking:
Understanding terminology of striking
Basic punches: Jab, cross & hooks
Padwork practice: Learning how to hold for your partner
BJJ: Side control
Conditioning & end of week (EOW) challenge: 10 push ups & 1 minute plank

Week 2:
Expanding on basic punches:
Uppercuts & body punches
BJJ: Mount
Conditioning & EOW challenge: 5 minute skipping & 20 burpees

Week 3:
Striking:
Partnered shadow boxing, roudhouse kicks, front kicks & pad work with kicks
BJJ: Back control
Conditioning & EOW challenge: 25 kicks each side, 2 minute plank & 1 minute straight punches

Week 4:
Striking:
High intensity padwork with kicks, knees and elbows, and bag work
BJJ: Guard
Conditioning & EOW challenge: 10 minute skipping, 3 rounds of 15 burpees & 1 minute plank

Week 5:
Striking:
light sparring, banded exercises & padwork
BJJ: Single leg takedown
Conditioning & EOW challenge: 3 rounds of 10 push ups, lap lunges, 1 minute plank & crunches

Week 6:
Striking:

BJJ: Rolling and takedowns
Conditioning & EOW challenge: 3 rounds of 5 minute conditioning sessions
