About this Event
Do you ever find yourself feeling agitated, irritable, frustrated, tense or angry? Or like your mind is foggy, fatigued or swarming with a never ending stream of thoughts? We all feel like this at times, but if we get stuck in these states it can lead to poor mental and even physical health, and reduce our enjoyment of life. So do you know how to get yourself out of these loops and return to a state of balance?
This 6-class meditation series will introduce a very practical style of meditation that teaches a simple yet powerful set of skills to help relax your body, calm your emotions and clear your mind at will. The intention is to move away from a path where our lives and decisions are driven by anxiety, fear, anger or self-doubt, as we learn to understand where our emotions come from and how to work more skilfully with them, whilst increasing our capacity for love and compassion towards our self and others – so that we are more readily able to live our lives with joy, fulfilment, gratitude, connection and purpose.
After setting an intention at the beginning each class, we will move through a series of gentle loosening exercises to relax the body, then be guided through a series of shorter and longer guided meditations, focussed on the breath, bodyscan, visualisations and sound.'
After meditating, we are likely to feel physically more relaxed, emotionally calmer, mentally clearer and refreshed. This course will give you the skills to access this state of balance whenever you choose.
Throughout the series, classes are held every Tuesday 8-9pm, starting on the 3rd November. If you are ready to find emotional calm and learn how to ‘untangle your mind ’, we would love for you to join us! Suitable for both beginners and those with prior meditation experience.

What to bring – Please feel free to bring along a yoga mat, blanket, cushion or anything else that will help you to be comfortable. Some mats, bolsters and blankets are available but we do encourage you to bring your own is possible. Chairs are also available if you prefer to be seated.
