Event description

Description

Join us to hear about current synchrotron-based research being carried out by Western Australian scientists and to receive an update on what is happening at the Australian Synchrotron. Not used a synchrotron? Don’t know what a synchrotron is? Don't know what it could for your research? Didn’t know it was free to use? Please register for the 5th WA Synchrotron Symposium. The forum will conclude with a poster session and sundowner.

The following keynote speakers have been confirmed:

  • Prof Michael James, Chief of Science at the Australian Synchrotron
  • Dr Katerina Lepkova, Curtin University
  • Dr Kenny J. Travouillon, Western Australian Museum

The event is free, but bookings are essential for catering purposes

If you are interested in giving an oral presentation please email Prof Simon Lewis (s.lewis@curtin.edu.au) as soon as possible with a draft title. Submissions from PhD students, early career researchers and industry researchers are particularly encouraged.
